Re: A New Bulldog...

Thank you Graham,

Bulldog now successfully installed and it is lovely. Been flying it today with my new Oculus Rift and can't put it down.
Thanks for your efforts. A long awaited addition to the hangar. ;)

Re: Milviz 35% off Easter sale

Dave If it is of any help I am running an i7 3700k and the Phantom runs as well as any of the Milviz stuff. No problem with frame rates in FSX or P3D. They have met us halfway with a model of the J modified with the tail fin ECM fairing but it still has the thinner US fuselage and exhaust nozzles. I...

Re: World's largest cruise ships on trials

Hi Paul Between 1979 and 1983 I was on, Methane Progress, Erinna, Opalia, Alinda, Lima and Naticina. I qualified as 2nd Mate in 83 but like all others on my intake was made redundant as the fleet was shrinking. I then turned to Policing for 30 years from which I retired 3 years ago in June. Many hap...

Re: World's largest cruise ships on trials

Now there's a thread to evoke some memories. I joined the Methane Progress as a first trip Deck Cadet in 1979 on the Canvey to Arzew run but mid trip we had a dry dock in St Nazaire. I still have vivid memories of cold spotting in her ballast tanks for frost patches where the tank insulation had bro...

Re: JF Tornado on Pre-Order!

Not a happy bunny here.

Installed this afternoon, lovely model and VC but on an i7 running at 4.5 ghz with 8 gb of RAM and a 4gb GTX 970 card frame rates in the VC are between 4 and 12. Lots of other similar complaints on the JF forum. I'm hoping they will get it sorted soonest.

Re: Police Helicopters Under Threat

C Storey I find nothing in Tony's comments to provoke such a reaction against British Policing in general. I wholeheartedly agree with his comments. Perhaps instead of suggesting a search of Who's Who to find out from what position you speak you could enlighten us all. Having proudly served 30 years...

Re: Flightstore MEGA Clearance on UK VFR scenery

Robbie

There is no problem having the UK 2000 products installed alongside the xtreme airports. In UK 2000 there is a control panel to select which UK 200 airports to disable if other scenery for them is installed.

Re: REX Essentials OD and REX4 - big updates

Hi Dave

I too was daunted by the number of versions patches and service packs and have used the auto update app for the last 2 installs. It seems to work fine and removes the risk of a resultant headache
