Re: Video: Gulf Oil Commercial

Ooh that brings back a few memories having been a Deck Cadet and Junior officer on Shell Tankers in the 70s-80s. We did take oil into Banrty Bay on one trip. It was a great life as a single man but ended in redundancy in 83 with most of the British fleets cutting back on tonnage. Thanks for that lit...

Re: Scratch one Sea Fury

Attended Culdrose with friends today and for the first time in years the sun shone. We were just leaving as the Sea Fury took off. WE stayed in the car park on base to see the display and towards the end of it the fury pulled up and there was a loud pop from the engine followed by white smoke from t...

Thanks for the hint. I'll take a look at the weekend when not working and ferrying offspring around.

Re: Who's Office might this be?

Hi Dave
Have had a look at the paint kit. Opened in Photoshop and on painting on the Paint Here layer the pink turns to pale blue whichever colour is selected. Is there some magic I need to be performing before opening the paint tins.

Re: Views on a new PC

Hi Paul I recently upgraded my system to an i7 3770k overclocked to 4.4 ghz with an nvidia 660TI graphics card. I am still using a SATA 2 drive for the OS and a faster SATA 3 drive for FSX and in all but the heaviest areas it will run FSX at a steady 40 FPS with quick load times. As I understand the...

Re: Who's Office might this be?

Hi Dave The 105 D&C used was the stretched DBS-4 model whereas the Nemeth is the standard 105. There is a nice West Yorkshire Police repaint for that model in White and blue with the dayglo yellow stripe along the bottom of the fuselage. Despite the lack of Police fit and being a different varia...

Re: Who's Office might this be?

Hi Dave Thanks for the offer. I have the regional paints for trhe 135 and 902. I too would like to see the 145 done especially in Police Fit with nite sun etc. I recall doing a D&C paint for the 200 or 2002 freeware BK117 and also a BO105 many years ago. I have the nemeth 105 but that is the sho...

Re: Who's Office might this be?

They look superb Dave. Thanks for sharing them. Downloading them as I type. As it happens I have Birmingham xtreme to explore with them but they may even find themselves doing a bit of mutual aid round Devon & Cornwall.
