HS748 Rickooo version reflections
I have installed the native FSX version of Rick's HS748 from Rickooo. It's early days with this aircraft at present, all is going well except that I have diagonal lines, which might be reflections(?), which very slightly distort the view of the outside world when one is flying in clear weather. Thes...

Re: Panel attachment to Fs9 conversion to FSX acft.
For DaveG: Yes I've tried that aircraft. It is the twin engine version developed from the original Fiat G-91. The problem I had was that the virtual panel could not always be selected and that became rather irritating. Thanks for the HU.

Re: Panel attachment to Fs9 conversion to FSX acft.
For Scorpius and DaveG: I could not understand why one is advised in three YouTube videos to change the FS9 sound file to an FSX sound file when converting an FS9 aircraft for use in FSX. It is also strange that in none of those films is one shown the FSX panel in place and operating in the converte...

Panel attachment to Fs9 conversion to FSX acft.
After watching a YouTube video on converting FS9 aircraft to enable use in FSX - essentially it involves removing the FS9 sound and panel files and replacing them with suitable native FSX sound and panel files. I had no trouble with replacing the sound file. The panel file has so far proved impossib...

Heated Runways?
Today a visiting friend mentioned that a Polish acquaintance was looking forward to visiting her parents in Poland, the part of her journey that worried her was being able to take off from Heathrow due to snow, she had no worries about being able to land in Poland because "we have heated runway...

Re: f9f AH Panther mods
For Airspeed and Dave G: Thanks to both of you for the help with the F9F-2 Panther. The aircraft that I have on my FSX system is the recently released A F Scrub version of the freeware AH Panther. I think that aircraft has a most attractive shape and it is a great pity that the fuselage drop tanks c...

f9f AH Panther mods
I would like to get rid of the drop tanks on this aircraft because evidently those Panthers used in Korea specialised in ground attack and in that role never carried drop tanks. The F9F Panthers used for photo recce aircraft were unarmed but seemingly did use drop tanks. The freeware models are base...
