That makes sence chaps. Just wasn't sure if it was relative to a particular type... i.e. if I should do all my flying in one type rather than lots of different ones.

Thanks.

It may well have been Chris. It was't just the forum that went TU though, it was the whole site, so it may have been something else. Needless to say, I'm looking into it.

Hi guys. We have had a major technical problem today which has meant we have had to revert to a Backup taken on the 5th June. As a result any changes to the forum from the 5th of June until this morning will be missing. We are still working to identify the root cause of the problem. Its is also wort...

What was pissing me off Chris, is that unlike you, I haven't done the VA thing before. I was halfway back to London when I realised how it all worked with regards to the aircraft being at the airport. (I was looking on flynet on the laptop while I was cruising on the flying PC.) It wasn't deliberate...

But if you don't get the time, you'll get left with no aircraft to fly back. Those of us that do shift work (like me) may not get a chance to do a return flight for several days. I'm really not keen on that and I'll prob just end up spending most of my time flying for simairline.net, just so not to...

I didn't know about the 24hr thing Dave, but it does seem fair. If you don't do your next leg within the 24hrs then its fair for someone else to fly it. :worried:

Fair comment CB. Maybe John can give us more details about the "fine" thing. I've noticed some of the other VA's seem to book their flights a day or so in advance.

Guys, I've been thinking about this, and maybe we're over complicating things. If you want to fly from A to B and back, but only make the first leg, and then decide you want to park up for the night, there is nothing stopping you booking the return leg on flynet. That then alocates the aircraft to y...
