I'm interested......but I won't be jumping in until I've seen a review or two. My iFDG MD-11 serves quite nicely, especially with the Alain Capt panel, so I will want to know more before shelling out for this one.

It does look relatively intact Paul, but we don't know what attitude it had when it went in. I suspect, and it's only my opinion, that it went in at a relatively shallow angle. As I understand the article the pilot was descending and decelerating at night, without visual references, so the angle of ...

It's been a while since I served at Binbrook, and I only had a couple of jollies in the T-birds, but I'm pretty certain that I wasn't briefed on a ditching drill for the Lightning. Standard practice, IIRC, was to eject from a controlled attitude and altitude. Given the high landing speed and huge ai...

Thanks Fraser, are those basically the same numbers for the 700 series? At least with the new client it's possible to actually fill the tanks properly on the Viscount. Steve, try starting the engines after starting the flight in Flynet, I always do that and have never had a shutdown when going back ...

I use Super Flight Planner too, and sometimes the last freeware version of FSBuild.
There is also UKRoute if you fly in the UK.

Thank you
Gents, for a number of reasons I'm moving on from CBFSVA :crying: The reasons are not to do with the the VA, but more to do with the real world cutting down on the time I have available for flying. This makes it very difficult to plan and execute a flight in the way I want to and cuts down on the en...

Thanks for the answers folks. I've run ScanAFD ( http://www.nwlink.com/~erog/ ) and Aldergrove is totally standard, no add-ons and the original AFCAD file so it isn't anything there that's causing the problem. However, Pete nailed it. I did find a duplicate for Prestwick, the only one in that part o...

FS9 CTD at Aldergrove
Does anyone have any idea why I always get a CTD flying into Aldergrove? It's happened in the Budge and now in the Viscount. I don't have any add-on scenery for that part of the world, no duplicate AFCADs, it doesn't matter if I'm on Flynet or not, and yet it always happens on that route, usually on...
