Imperial Airways scenery

Hi all, Some time ago (I reckon it was over a year ago), I remember following a link from this forum to some scenery for FS2004 which I downloaded. It was a collection of airfields around the world which were served by Imperial Airways, and would add aerodromes such as Croydon and Brooklands to FS9....

Well I'm of the view that the age of a particular aircraft is irrelevant in determining how "safe" it is - maintenance is the most important factor. A brand new aircraft will still crash if it is poorly maintained, a 70-year old aircraft will be very safe if maintained to the necessary sta...

Perhaps the general public is the 'final' beta team!! :dunno: That wouldn't be a bad thing if it was the case - provided they listen to the general public - a lot of people all over the place seem to be pointing out all the problems they can find with it so if MS actually take on board what's being...

Well hopefully this will mean that the airlines have to pay more and their ticket prices go up whilst GA won't have to pay increased costs (although no doubt the CAA will do their best to force the airlines' costs onto the rest of aviation).

It isn't the drivers who are doing the dumbing down..............it's the powers that be. Since EU legislation kicked in, if one of the F1 drivers gets killed, then the people at the top of the sport can be charged with manslaughter. Max Mosley has already moved his office outside of the EU to dist...

Best payware aircraft are probably MAAM DC-3, LDS 767, PMDG stuff, anything by Dreamfleet or Carenado, a lot of Flight1 stuff (ATR 72 especially). Most of my favourites though are freeware - DM's Trident and 1-11, RP's HS748, PT Tu-154.

Entertaining is were they ban fuel stops, remove all electronics, fit fully manual gearboxes and a clutch. give them 3.5 litre engines again and race to the finish! The driver's skill and proper engineering is what wins the race. remember the good old days with the Lotus JPS and the Marlboro McClar...

All of Carenado's stuff looks nice, I'm just waiting for them to make a C150/152 (maybe for FSX) - they made one for FS2000/2002 but sadly it didn't get updated for FS2004.

Well to be honest I don't really care about the default aircraft as long as DM can give us a VC10 for FSX!
