Re: Callouts - English speak!
If only we could have air traffic controllers who speak with a local accent, ie English accent while flying in the UK, a German accent in Germany, etc. Nothing kills the immersion factor like arriving in foreign airspace just to be greeted by a controller who sounds like he hails from Ohio. :wall: B...

Re: Cycling: Around my fair city
The pictures don't really do it justice. I see it every day on my walk to and from the car park, and am always taken in, even though it may be filled with buffoons from time to time. :) I think you'll find that buffoons are a very common commodity in most, if not all, government buildings. Br...

Great pics, Chris. Thanks for sharing them. Iowa definitely has a gorgeous capital building! If I ever again find myself on I-80/I-35 I'll pull off to get a better look at your lovely city. :) I am loving the fact many of the forum members are active cyclists. You said it! :thumbsu...

Re: Carenado Beech V35
A couple of questions, are the brake lever and the throttle, mixture and prop pitch clickable? The throttle, mixture, and prop pitch are clickable in the 2D pop-up window as well as the VC. For some reason the brake lever is only clickable (and visible) in the 2D pop-up window. I am pretty sure Car...

Re: No use crying over spilt....er..Vodka
Wow, forklifts are getting pretty high tech. :-O The 'accident-waiting-to-happen' I used to operate was one of those types where the cab rises up and down with the forks. It used to scare the pee out of me when I'd have to get out of the cab (at the top of the racks) and step across the forks. :worr...

Re: Carenado Beech V35
You get kind of a mixed bag with the trim wheel and flaps switch. In the VC both of them are clickable... http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y256/FlyTexas/Image2-21.jpg ...but in the 2D only the flaps switch is clickable... http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y256/FlyTexas/Image1-24.jpg ...but you can se...

Ain't it the truth. I've impaled a few cardboard boxes in my day using one of those things.delticbob wrote:As I have a FLT licence I am thinking "There but for the grace of God go I". It is so easily done
