Yes...tall squashed clouds all over the place.
All in all an interesting experience... just as strange as Alert deserves

Re: Odd FS9 Experience at CYLT
'Morning Gents, Thanks for the comments, it's nice to know that I wasn't going crazy... It's a stock airfield, but I am running UT Can/Alaska. Going from what Peter's said, it's not doing it too badly, as it just seems to slide along the surface. I do have FSX as well, and it's a much safer place to...

Odd FS9 Experience at CYLT
Hi, I'm at a bit of a loss to understand what happened in my latest FS9 flight - so I've popped over to the experts here to see if anybody can clue me in... I decided to fly the CFS Alert - CFB Trenton route, it's been a while since I've been to the Arctic! I placed my trusty Hercules on the active ...

Re: One cheap deal -one slightly cheap deal...
After I "blew up" my FSX install due to a stupid human trick, I went out and found a copy of FS9... and I've fallen into the same lane as everybody else. FS9 good... FSX... well, I have to admit that if you use only "native" FSX models and such, it actually runs rather well. But ...

Re: Dragon Rapide help please
...I just had a quick peek through Mr. Sturtivant's books, and grabbed some profiles too. Dayglo Red or Dayglo Orange were both used... I'd go with the majority and make it red, and then dare any of us to prove otherwise!

Re: Ultimate Terrain Europe.
Hello, Sorry, can't say I know much about any of the freeware mesh packages. I know flightsim.com seems to have a lot of them in the file library. Why not try a search on their engine, then punch the names you find into google or your search engine of choice and see if there's any commentary floatin...

Re: Ultimate Terrain Europe.
Hi, I've got Ultimate Terrain USA/CAN and Europe, and Ground Environment for both FS9 and FSX. All of the products are a significant improvement over the default terrains. You really need the Ground Environment to see all of the benefits from the Ultimate terrain packages - but if I could only have ...

Re: C 17 for FSX
Sorry Mate, won't be able to help you out afterall... I'm one of the types who never had FS9... but I picked up a copy. I was asleep at the switch when I tried to install it this morning, and 9 ended up getting installed on top of my FSX install... everythings pooched now, and I'm going to have load...

Re: C 17 for FSX
Stelvio,
Sorry for not responding - RL got in the way and I haven't gotten near a computer. I'll check it out as soon as I get the chance to fire up FSX... I hardly ever access throttle panels, as I'm a lucky sod with a full thottle/yoke setup. Spoiled rotten actually!
