Re: WIP...But where is it?
Hi Peter, I use Photoshop 7, but other versions should be broardly similar. Open the file. My layout has several boxes on the right hand side, each with tabbed pages. The bottom one has tabs for layers, channels and paths. Click the channels tab. You should now see 5 channels displayed. They are com...

Re: WIP...But where is it?
Hi Peter, It's an alpha channel problem. I just looked at the PSD for the bottom texture I sent you, and on the alpha channel the rear section is dark grey, the main section very light grey, and the nose is white. The whole thing should be very light, as per the main section. Looks like I mixed it u...

Re: WIP...But where is it?
Can't remember how I did that one  Looking at the PSD it's not a font layer, though it must have started out as that.
Easiest way to do it is to use a standard font, then add a stroke effect layer to it to give the outline.

Layered PSDs for all the external textures. They are oversize so will need reducing after editing for FS use.

Re: WIP...But where is it?
Peter, I've still got the original layered PSD master textures for Echo you can have, if it will make your work easierpetermcleland wrote:They are all separate AI aircraft with their proper registrations but the actual textures are all XE609 Echo...So I've got a bit of work to do on the textures.

Re: Horizon Gen X Ver 2
Hi Brian,
Have you open the folders and checked the files are there on the HD?
Is FSX in the default location on the C drive?
You could try deleting the entries, then adding them back in manually.

Point noted Peter
Those panel lines are only one pixel wide on the bump map, but I can tone down the amount of "bump"

Re: 5 Reinstalls in a week...
Should be OK I think  You'll obviously have to enable it in the scenery cfg unless you restore that from a backup too.
I moved GenX to a separate drive without problems.
