Re: Your First Flight?
My first flight was in a 'Chippie' at RAF Shawbury as a spotty, 13 year old, ATC cadet. My first glider flight was also as a cadet at RAF Ternhill. Happy days!

Re: Sound Editing Software
Larry Four Seasons (Frankie Valli) scheduled to hit the turntable tomorrow, so I will use Waverep on that. Keep yer fingers crossed for me. Take your time and make sure you read the manual on how to use it as it has a LOT of features and it takes a bit of practice to get the best out of it but you ...

Re: Sound Editing Software
Larry, I'll give Waverep a whirl, but my wee pension won't run to 30 dollars for the full package. Paul, try it for 30 days and see if you like it as it is very powerful and does an excellent job of removing all the unwanted 'noise' from vinyl. I just checked the site again and I guess inflation ha...

Re: Sound Editing Software
I got into converting LPs to CDs a few years ago and used this software.... http://www.delback.co.uk/wavrep/ It is excellent as it was designed specifically to get rid of pops, crackles, scratches and rumbles and nothing else! In fact I liked it so much I even paid the minimal registration fee (abou...

Re: What the hell are these?!
Don't worry Eddie.. I'd have wondered WTF they were and I've never heard of visible thermals ;-) LOL...I don't think they have them in FS9. They are intended to be a guide for glider pilots. You fly circles within the 'coil' and get lift to allow you to fly to the next 'coil'. I used to use them wh...

Panel looks pretty nice...I bet Rick could make a lovely model of this! Just Flight made one a while ago Peter, see.... http://www.justflight.com/product.asp?pid=170 It's a bit 'twitchy' in FSX but quite nice to fly and looks good both internally and externally and has several variants including on...
