Re: What do you recommend please- UK VFR scenery?
There is a lot of freeware autogen for the UK, although some areas are better covered than others. Have a look at Shep's Shed: http://www.shepsshed.com/autogentrees.htm A lot of freeware airfields such as those from Tony Meredith, and our Trev Clark also contain autogen for the areas around the airf...

Re: FSX Hunters invisible!
"As real as it gets!"
Thanks for the endorsement Brandsman, but credit for the flight model should really go to Rick (who did most of the work on the original FM), and Peter McLeland who tweaked it using his experience as an ex-RAF Hunter pilot.

Re: Autothumbnail 2 for FSX
*-) From the menu you should have 3 choices. (from memory, so the wording may be different!) 1) Create thumbnail for current scheme 2) Create thumbnails for all schemes 3) Create thumbnails for all - don't overwrite Option 1 should just create a single thumb for the current livery only Option 2 crea...

Re: Autothumbnail 2 for FSX
Are you using Win7 64bit by any chance? Normaly Autothumbnail is incompatible with 64bit OS's, but someone did recompile the source code into a 64bit version. IIRC there is a link in one of the Avsim forums. I'll see if I can find it. EDIT: Found the link: http://www.zshare.net/download/691719708cc7...

Re: FSX Sound not quite right :-/
I very occasionally get a sound glitch similar to the one you describe. Doesn't happen very often so I've not tried to search out a permanent solution, but when it does happen I just press "Q" twice to mute then restore the sound. Works for me, but obviously you're problem may be different...

Re: UK2000 LHRXtreme v2
Just upgraded to Heathrow V2 this evening. Dispite having read this thread I forgot to disable Kaspersky before installing
Result: Kaspersky deleted my scenery.cfg and the UK2000 installer
Luckily I had a backup scenery.cfg from a couple of days ago, so all is not lost.
