Re: Best PC companies, please
I think I'd be more inclined to go with an X570 based board as opposed to B550. I'd also stick with the 32gb RAM as that's the highest option available for 3600Mhz sticks which is what Ryzen likes for optimum running. I suppose you could always ask them to double it up mind. Other than that, much be...

Re: Best PC companies, please
My RTX3060ti plays very nicely with my Ryzen 7 5800X and the X470 chipset it runs with.

Re: Best PC companies, please
I may be a little late to the party but having looked at your proposed spec, I can't help but think it's rather top heavy and not overly balanced. The CPU is an overpriced Intel unit offering lower performance than a cheaper AMD counterpart (confirmed by benchmarks). The budget is being spent in are...

Re: Stobart Air gone into Liquidation!!
I can't say I have tbh mate. There are so many of these pie in the sky airlines these days, that I only really take note once they have an aircraft ready to go. I see IAG are using Aer Lingus and Cityflyer aircraft on the routes left by Stobart, but domestic carriers seem to be dwindling these days ...

Re: Stobart Air gone into Liquidation!!
Stobart are seen as this highly polished company that can do no wrong but having worked for them, they are utterly dreadful. I really feel for the Aer Arann staff who found themselves under the Stobart umbrella. The airport was used as a trophy in my eyes and we couldn't even have email addresses co...

Thank you all :) Other than coming off of a night shift, it was a rather nice day with two notable gifts... a 2 night stay in Ljubljana next year courtesy of the future Mrs Bravo, and one of the guys I work with enjoys workwood as a hobby and made me this... https://i.imgur.com/CMb1Ffj.jpg It can si...

Re: Advice
It's difficult to find the words but I do hope that you are OK in yourself Simon. I'm sure many would like to forget 2020/1 and the loss of your Grandson will only add to that. I can only echo your words about talking to someone and as I say to my friends, I work shifts and am awake at times when ma...

Re: MSFS2020 and VR, GPU recommendations?
You'll be lucky to find a grahics card in stock and at a decent price at present. Your best bet is to use Telegram on your phone to sign up to FE PartAlert which will give you instant alerts for Nvidia 3000 series Founders Edition cards when they go on sale at Scan.co.uk. When you get the alert, you...

Re: Head Tracker for your smart phone...
I purchased it a couple of days ago and it works well. You download a free app on the PC which runs in the background and then you run the paid for app (Smooth Track) on your phone. You just prop your phone up so the camera is facing you. The phone app simply feeds the movement data to the PC via Wi...
