Re: The Royal Navy in the 1960's Video.
Nice Video. Hadn't realised until I saw the Sea Vixens onboard *just* how cramped the flightdeck was. Its a shame that the powers that be at the time didn't see much future in fixed wing capable carriers, what we have in service now somehow doesn't seem to match the capabilites of what we had then. ...

Re: HMS Astute
  Oh dear! I thought the fact it could reflect Sound was pretty impressive, hiding under a ship and spying on its comms. Mind you I guess Subs can sort of do that already by hiding behind the engines of the ship its tracking. I also noticed that all crew get their own beds on this instead ...

Re: Section 8 F-86E Sabre
One of my all time Flighsim Favourites this aircraft. I could be wrong (and probably am) but for the FS2004 version were there not some RAF repaints available? Re: HMS Astute
Sadly True.
It'll be interesting to see this in Service, the Technology used is outstanding. At least it'll keep Barrow Shipyards in business for a while.
All they need to do now is ensure that the Eurofighter continues to be supported, along with British Manufacturing.

Unusual!!
I Once recieved a bill for 11p from a phone contract company. So I walked into the store with the letter and 12p and said they could keep the change!
Always makes me laugh at how it must of cost more than that to send the letter in the first place!

Ashes 2009
After 4 years we have re-gained the Ashes and returned them to England!!!
Congratulations to Flintoff and the boys, was in the pub watching this earlier and the atmosphere was electric!
Did anyone else watch today's test match, it certainly had its moments.

Re: Incredible Tornado footage
Yep.
Just goes to show that man can create any weapon it wants, but in the end nature is a far more powerful force that anything we can produce.
Amazing to see the cars getting tossed around like little toys.
