Ouch, was affraid you would say that!
had some problems with SP2 so removed it. Had black squares around runway lights and some stutters.
I'll try it again and see if it fixes the sounds.

Re: FSX advice please....
Hi,
I have a high end system. 2.44 quad core with 4gigs ram on Vista.
SP2 made FSX stutter and I saw black squares around runway lights.
I have the latest nvidia drives for my 8800GT card.
Anyone encounter these problems?
Ted.

Re: Dave Garwoods Beaufighter
Hi, since loading the default cessna I've not encountered the gear retract again. I'm still getting anomolies with the sounds however. Anyone else not have the full range of sound, from idle to max and back again. At startup I get engine sounds of high rpm. If I push the throttles to max and back to...

Re: Dave Garwoods Beaufighter
My flight starts with the aerosoft Beaver. From your replies I'm guessing some sort of conflict??
Let me try chaging the Beau as deafult and restarting FSX.
BTW not complaining about the Beau, love it to bits :-)

Re: Dave Garwoods Beaufighter
Hi, anyone have any problems with the sounds. At start up they sound like they are revving or full chat, starboard motor more so. If I briefly go to full throttle and then back to idle I then get the idle sounds. BTW gear retracts automatically over a certain speed. Is this how the real aircraft wor...

Re: Lancaster for FSX
Ooooh, I have the Wings of Power (come to think of it a Vulcan as well) Lanc on disc...somewhere...but didn't realise they worked okay in FSX. If I can find it I'll give it a go. Never tried multiplayer before. Might give it a go. You guys planning anything in the future? Guess everyone has to have ...

Re: Dave Garwoods Beaufighter
Hi, thanks to everyones help I've now downloaded the Beau and been buzzing around the Isle of Man all weekend. I'm having great difficulty in landing her. Are there any docs that explain the correct flap and power settings for approach and landing (well for takeoff, initial climb, climb, cruise, des...

Hi,
I'm having difficulty finding this aircraft for download.
Can someone send me a link to the files please.
The CBFiles fourm and Daves own website don't allow me to see any links for download???
Many thanks,
Ted.
