Re: DH88 Question

The steer angle of the tailwheel (7th set of figures) is the culprit in the aircraft.cfg file. Its 180 ° in my version, so reduce it to 30° or even less. Funnily enough I think it will still taxy & turn on quite a small radius. If it wont then adjust the angle a bit until it meets your requireme...

A new updated version V2.0 has been uploaded to www.britsim.com this corrects some of the texture mapping when using camo repaints when viewed from the VC, the RH pilot can now be removed from both the external view & the VC, the Provost Notes have been updated & corrected & finally ther...

Re: Provost T1...

Peter,
Thanks for the video, I hope she didn't bite at such a low altitude when pulling G, & how much electric string did you have in your undercart after the flight....!

Re: The OTHER Provost

Frank & Garry, I have a modification under test at Britsim that corrects the mapping from the VC that is only seen with a Camo repaint, but during this excercise I have managed after a fashion to make the external view match the VC with regards to the 2 nd dickie being seen or not. Its not perfe...

Re: The OTHER Provost

Frank, I have thought about eliminating the RH pilot in external view, but so far not implimented it. As I need to do an update for better HD gauges and correct some mapping for camo repaints, on your suggestion I will do so. Keep an eye open for an-(other) update! As for the crew wearing a bone dom...

Re: The OTHER Provost

Garry,
If my Provost wingfold is working for you in FSX then it must be my setup, or maybe its because I have too many (or near limit) polys, which could explain why the Chilton works OK.
I use Gmax,

Re: The OTHER Provost

Garry, does the wingfold work for you then in FSX? I know its OK in FS9, but for some reason my Proctors & this Provost will not ackle in FSX, although the Chiltons do work! Wierd.
mgchristy, Thanks thats one of the documents I used as well as Flight reports for May & Sept 1951.

Re: The OTHER Provost

Jimm, alias Auster driver has located my deliberate mistake in the update - I didn't issue a revised aircraft.cfg for FS9! Anyway in order to get the 2nd dickie to disappear/reappear with the Tailhook command, you need to delete a couple of forward slashes at the bottom of the .cfg file that appear ...

Re: The OTHER Provost

Seems it was a waste of time & effort creating the Provost Notes.pdf! Anyway there is an update available to the Beta file that gives the option of removing the RH pilot from the VC if one wishes to fly solo, as well as having a missing texture & it also includes a modified aircraft.cfg file...

Try posting a request to Leif over at Britsim, he might be able to upload elsewhere for you.
