No cats were stroked in the making of this album
And there's an airliner in #10, amazingly. Saudia 777 flying from CDG (to Riyadh presumably?)

Socially distanced walks - lazy photography
As some of you probably are, I am taking a walk most days, usually after work (this is my fourth week of working from home) and the weather has been pretty good. I am taking photos, but only using my phone, which is a Nokia 5, albeit with a ported version of the GCam app on it. Some cropping and pos...

Re: The dreaded virus.
If I have a test today and I'm clear, by the time I get the result I could have it. This is indeed true. I think the most useful aspect is that if a test comes back positive, you can at least tell that person to isolate and thus limti further spread from that person. You also get an idea of rate of...

Re: The dreaded virus.
My personal feeling is that much of the world has forgotten it is mortal. If the planet is a giant battery, we've plugged in too many light bulbs. Agreed, the world is grossly overpopulated, in terms of what it can support, especially with the ever-growing resource and energy demands of each person...

Re: Isolation and flying.
I'm trying to work from home. Connectivity troubles, can't talk to colleague easily, can't find [paper] files, have to make my own lunch and clean the dishes instead of going to the canteen and now one of the neighbours is having a tree shredded outside seemingly.

Re: BEA retrojet A319 at Zürich (photos)
Do not understand what slf is I think he means "self loading freight", a pejorative term for passengers :poke:  So in his parlance an "slf tube" would be an airliner. Reminds me of my old boss in the UK, the first time I ever flew to Switzerland. We were sitting at the gate...

Re: BEA retrojet A319 at Zürich (photos)
Temperature can vary enormously from -20C to +40C. I didn't really move for the weather though, more for the experience of being somewhere different and for the scenery.

Re: BEA retrojet A319 at Zürich (photos)
all that wet, and snowy mountains made me shiver. :worried: Ironically, it's been stupidly warm here this year. Almost no snow here at all and even where I used to go cross country skiing, I'm not sure if the Langlaufloipe was open for a single day of classic / Nordic style skiing all season. When ...

Re: BEA retrojet A319 at Zürich (photos)
Great shots Toby (as usual) The zoom thing works if they are attached rather than linked, but I’ll have a look over the weekend and see if there is a plugin that can do it and we’ll give it a go. Hi Ben, didn't realise I could attach pics, thought they had to be hosted somewhere, so I always link f...
