Re: HS748 Taxispeed

As I saw mentioned in a previous post taxi-ing the 748 is far to sensitive. It is virtually impossible to taxi at a steady speed without keeping tapping the brakes. It just rockets off as soon as you increase the throttles. I found a solution.Open the aircraft file and scroll down to the propeller e...

Re: DC-3 in South African liveries

[quote="parksie10"]John, just a quick question, is that DC -3 for fsx or FS9? I saw some in flight sim, but they were for FS9. Also don't have the payware one. :xsmile: Also Trust everyone here had a great Christmas. I'm so sick of turkey, and Christmas grub, that I'm going to fly a relief...

Re: DC-3 in South African liveries

You have a choice!

There is a paint job for the MS DC-3 of ZS-BHJ at Flightsim.com - file dc3saa.zip.

And one for the MAAM-SIM model of ZS-BXF at the same place - file maamsaak.zip

Hope this helps,

John

Re: Viscount 810 panel - problems with .cab file

I appreciate this issue has been resolved by use of a newer version, but felt this should be clarified for more general reasons as I don't think it has been mentioned already: In the past, i solved this problem by unziping the file VC810.CAB renaming the filmes and zipping it again. But now, i canno...

Re: So many aircraft - how blessed we are!

BEA, Transair, IPEC 2 versions, SAFE, Saggitair, ABC 3 Version, BBA, Universal, Aer Turas, Rolls Royce. I think that's it. All released in the base packages..none painted as seperate addons :hide: Thanks, I think those are all ones I have seen - not quite all installed as you have rightly spotted. ...

Re: So many aircraft - how blessed we are!

HI John Apart from Riddle, Zantop, Kris Air and Air Anglia...all the Argosy liveries have been painted. Although there are a few minor variations that could be done. It wasn't meant to sound like a complaint, Garry! And oh what a bloomer - I forgot to mention the painters in the "big thankyou&...

Re: Britannia/CL-44 Cockpit 2D.

Hi Garry, I took just a few pictures at Kemble on colour slide but they are probably not as good as Dave B's, or at least won't be by the time they have been scanned. On the CL-44 front, have you seen http://www.airliners.net/photo/First-International-Airlines/Conroy-CL-44-O-Guppy/0167219/ ? This pr...

So many aircraft - how blessed we are!

With a constant flow of new toys to play with in Flight Simulator 2004 (I'm thinking at the moment mostly of non "British" aircraft like Ilysuhin 12s 14s, 18s, Saab Scandias and a huge range of Constellations) it is so easy to forget some of the earlier aircraft that have given so much fun...
