The one I recall was very high quality and i think commissioned for a TR IX owner/operator and was only made available for a short time as free download.

A few years ago I had a pretty good freeware Spitfire TR IX in Irish Air Force livery. I can't be sure but think it may have been an Aeroplane Heaven special?

Anyone made the transition from Version 1 to Version 2 for the general UK airport packages? I have Vol's 1-3 on disk and they are very good but it's difficult to see from the screenshots on the UK2000 site if the upgrade to the later version is worth it. I use FSX Steam, Horizon VFR and Trescape BTW...

I didn't know him like many others on here did, but he was always the first to reply when I was asking for help or advice; a genuinely nice and enthusiastic person who loved the hobby and loved helping others to enjoy it too.

Will be sadly missed.

I feel your pain.... I too have had to rebuild VFR Scenery and Treescape a few times... it never goes smoothly but when it does it's a great feeling and still the best scenery package combination out there!!
