P3D4 Sea Fury
Just a heads up, we've recompiled the Sea Fury for P3D4. Along with updating the engine control gauge to 64 bit, I've also reworked the gun sight to function as a gyro gun sight with selectable target wing span and range, tweaked a couple of sound settings, and changed the material settings so refle...

Re: HU, Fairey Barracuda
Taildraggers are sometimes a pain when it comes to carriers but to my surprise the Barracuda hooks up nicely I've discovered this is due to the way FSX/P3D treats the tailhook, once it's down it's down so when you catch the wire it remains in the fully extended state rather than swinging backwards ...

Re: New Avro Vulcan: A discussion
Some idle thoughts. You don't actually need a new external model. With P3Dv3 and higher you can use SimConnect to attach SimObjects to SimObjects, e.g. bombs to aircraft, and indeed detach them although the ballistics will assume no drag unless you control that. I'm guessing you could just attach Ta...

I think there's something like a 90 day money back offer so depending on how close to three months you actually are that might be an option.

Re: Electric light aircraft
2) the acceleration will be phenomenal, when compared with a like-for-like single prop GA aircraft, rather like the electric cars vs. petrol cars I don't think that's right, electric cars have great acceleration from start as they produce max torque at zero RPM, with a prop it's already spinning so...

Re: HMS Queen Elizabeth
On a lighter note i see the Captains name is Captain Kydd , Roger. Yup.. he's the obvious choice for command being the most senior flat-top Captain in the RN. Note too his position is Commodore yet he has 4 thin stripes not one thick one :cpu: I like that definition John  ATB DaveB B)smk...
