Re: MSFS new version announced

Hi Chris, Well I dutifully bought P3 v6. Everything was painless, I even managed to get my orbx library to work! I'm not sure what has improved with this itineration, graphics are - maybe - a tad better but I think that a lot of the updates are to workings and thus beyond me. Personally I still have...

Re: P3Dv?

Part Deux: VC10 is OK but very skittish - I mean it acts a bit like a fighter, very easy to stall and a pig to get into a safe state after the auto pilot over reacts and puts the aircraft into a stall. Looks like I need to try and desensitise the control inputs. Regarding the C130 issue, LM have sta...

Re: P3Dv?

The JF loader does not recognise V6 so you have to point it to the folder, then it is all automatic.

JF VC10 appears to be working well on it's first flight, but again the RW is calling..

To be continued.

Re: P3Dv?

Download and install went without a hitch. Usual first flight set to my favoured (Leeming) home base also went OK. First flight went well. Stock scenery has the UK well overstocked with trees but otherwise OK. Last night I tried to be more adventurous and fly a C130. No image shown, tried all the c1...

Re: P3Dv?

On my 'to buy' list that's for sure.

For every MSFS flight I take, I probably fly a good 30-40 with P3D or Steam FSX.

Re: MSFS new version announced

Just discovered that LM have issued their latest update: P3D 5.4. Just a bit over 30GB download so won't have a chance to use it until the morrow at earliest.

Re: Well, Goodbye.

Thanks Paul, I tend to use Radio 4 Extra on Freeview (708) That way I can record and play back at leisure. Takes me back to the days when a group of nineteen-year-olds would sit round a radio in a barrack block in Germany and be in hysterics. Those were the days, no TV, video, YouTube and instant co...

Re: Well, Goodbye.

The Navy Lark was a must listen to program. It was one of the comedy programs broadcast by British Forces Broadcasting Service in Germany along with Beyond Our Ken and Round The Horn and The Goon Show back in the 60's. Life was so much less complicated then. R.I.P. Leslie and thank you for brighteni...

Re: Airspeed - Mike Johnson

The aftereffects can take a long time to wear off so don't try and rush things - leave the marathon til next year :poke:

Delighted that you are on the mend - take it slowly Mike.
