Then what's the max capacity of the Merchantman? I'll trust your numbers more because I can't imagine the pax bird having the ability to carry as much as the freighter. That'd be a world's first.

Budgie is the nickname for the Avro/HS/BAe 748 airrcaft, like "pig" for a B737-200 or "Albert" for a Hercules etc Haven't heard "Pig" for a 737. I've only heard "Guppy". 'Whale' for the 747, 'Pocket Rocket' for the 727 Advanced models, 'Diesel-8' for the DC-8...
