I think Dinky brought out an "army camouflage" SRN-6 model? Was this a 'make believe' or did the MOD actually purchase the SRN-6?

Really great model - flight characteristics seem excellent after a first hop. The Wessex joins the Lynx, Puma and Chinook in my Hanger (and its probably the best of the bunch). Well done! to all the connections.

Some of those shots look suspiciously like Oman (SOAF)? - where No ? Squadron would regularly buzz the oil drilling rigs at '0' bringing up rooster tails of sand.
