Funny - I've been throughout the US and much of Canada, but I've never set foot anywhere near the Pittsburgh area...even though it's only the other end of my own state...about a 5 hour drive...

Re: My daughter, the plane spotter
You’re welcome, Paul. I wish I was as lucky as the gent in the A2A post, riding copilot! Great pics in that thread... The video was taken at New Garden Flying Field (N57). It’s a nice sleepy airfield in the rolling farmlands of Chester County, PA… west of Philadelphia. https://www.newgardenflyingfie...

Re: My daughter, the plane spotter
Your daughter has a good eye, Paul! A good while ago, one of the members of the A2A forum had a flight as co-pilot in a Tin Goose. Given its reputation, as you have mentioned, I asked him if was very noisy. He said that it wasn't anything excessive, which surprised me a little. Katherine said it was...

Re: FS2004 turns 18 today!
I really think MS peaked with FS9. In terms of the community aspect, I'd definitely agree. I've toyed with FS since the FS98, but Century of Flight is what really lit the fire for me. I recall coming online here with CBFS back in the FS2004 era. So many names now sadly gone: Dave Booker, Leif Hardi...

Re: Ilyushin Il-12 for FS2004
Thanks Brian. Agreed - they are wonderful models. There's also a rework of Jens' IL-14 done by the same author. The -14 is (or was) a little more common and seems to have a better selection of repaints available. I had this model installed in FSX and P3D at various points, and don't recall any issue...
