40s man , Mate has found the relevent tech manual describing what can be done . When wx warms up he'll go in attic and hopefully find operating man which could tell us how we did it . I'd vote for the PMDG . Used the 737/600-700 version in fs2002 and fs2004 . VG . Used the PMDG 747-400 in fs2004 , as a practice tool before my 6 monthly sim checks in the real thing ; specially when I was part time and old . Was an excellent device . I'd hope their offering for FSX would be as good...

Nigel , Seem to remember it was 90 secs. from start of roll , Conc was similar . Auto noise monitoring sites [NMS] around the vicinity of LHR . Elsewhere , don't know ; but it was SOP to be a good neighbour . If someone rang the bell at the NMS , think 't skipper got an invite to explain why ! GVA ,...

P.S. don't forget the noise abatement power reduction at 90 secs. [ at most places , GVA maybe 65 secs. ]
