Great seeing some of our work up for the Fleet Air Arm Museum up on the streets! I think my first Airfix model was a VC10, which I them preceded to paint with my mothers nail varnish!

The model I yearned after was a BOAC liveried Concorde that my uncle had unmade for many years!

Gladly I have one now!

So today is the last day that HMS Illustrious will enter Portsmouth Harbour, just a few days after HMS Queen Elizabeth was floated out at Rosyth and HMS Ocean returned to service after a massive refit.
