Another broken engine

This twin-jet engine made a loud bang and stopped suddenly, .....just as one would expect when a first stage compressor blade goes AWOL, also took out the IGV's and the stator rows in the casing too. Thank you Toby - Its better than I imagined - now I have to go find the missing Gloster aircraft a Glad and a Gauntlet - Its really worth waiting for leif Frank Elton has done the Gauntlet, you should find it at all the usual places :wink: , made for fs02 in fsds2 so should work in fs9 ok, zip name...

Indeed Kikko It was built by North American So it really should be on the CNB forum Garry CNB indeed, but definitely made in the British Empire as well, some were built by Noorduyn Aviation and Canadian Car and Foundry too. And Lawrence Wacketts' Commonwealth Aircraft Company (CAC) in Australia use...

Interesting thread, I had my first in-sim encounter with spacial disorientation recently.

I was using Kirk Olsson's F-86 in VC, got away from Laarbruch in low cloud and about 5 mins later exited same cloud upside down looking at the ground,had to use the 'eject' :lol:
