Re: Attention Peter M.
I thought that all M-B seats ( at least in the RAF versions) eventually had the survival pack installed in a yellow fibreglass shell with a nice piece if Welsh lamb fleece over it. ( It was found I think that the hard shell was better for your back if you had to use the seat in emergency as the earl...

Re: Oddball PC failures
If your FS9 is on your D drive, you might need to reload FS9 because I think the registry entries need to be on your C drive. First off though I would just do a simple restore, (not using the CD) just find a date just prior to you going on holiday & before young Sprog started playing! Not having...

Re: Oddball PC failures
I've had some recent blue screens & have run the memory repair program in W7, as well as doing a chkdsc & a defrag. I thought a lot of my problems were initially caused by high temp readings & taking sons advice I bought a larger PSU & a PCI fan, which did help a bit, I now run with ...

Re: BEA's First Vanguard Freighter
Not sure about the engines on the F228, we were just responsible for the wing design which had a lot more lift devices that the F28 & if I remember correctly (its a long time ago) there was a tie up with Shorts for production. The aircraft production was cancelled before the design was really co...

It looks as if you can dispense with Central heating in the winter - just hope your electric meter runs backwards!

Re: BEA's First Vanguard Freighter
I was banned from going to Weybridge when working on the design of the freighter conversion...... Having worked at Weybridge as an apprentice & then on VC10 in the Loft & then TSR2 D.O. I was then working for the 'Brain Drain' company CDI, who after finishing work on the C5A & Fairchild ...

Re: FSX - Vulcan VX770
I've had compiling problems for FS9 with Gmax when the polygon count has gone over the magic 64K - but this value also includes animations, so I had to remove unviewable animations in either the exterior or interior models to achieve a compile - my Proctors did that as there are a lot of little bits...

Re: While Im here
Take a look at the teasers at Britsim I've given to Leif.....
I'm getting on slowly with the interior, next is the final instrumentation.. Theres a lot more bits in it than I thought that need texturing.....

Re: New Graphics Card
All you now need to do is watch your temperatures.......I get crashes & blue screens now & again because something has tripped & got too hot! Seems to be about 10° cooler with the side panel off, & max seen so far is 65°, but with the side on some bits can get to 75°! Thats even with...

Re: FS9 or FSX for Classic Flight Simming?
If you have lost or damaged Disc 4 for FS9 there is a free patch that one can use - maybe not really legal, but I should think one could say 'legal' if one has already bought the product? As for FSX I have it also but I much prefer FS9 because of the deatail & frame rates I get with my 'reasonab...
