Re: Airspeed Ambassador for FSX out now!
Thanks for the summary Adrian. I bought P3D yesterday & am waiting for the downloads to finish ATM. I'm going to post a new thread with my experiences as I go, so others can see if it my be suitable for them. Good idea Dave. I expect there'll be an influx of new users trying P3D so it will be g...

Re: Airspeed Ambassador for FSX out now!
For those thinking about P3D, I'll repost my observations from another forum (sorry for the thread re-hijack): I've been flying PREPAR3D for a couple of months now and would definitely recommend anyone to give it a try. On my system it's a huge improvement over FSX even at version 1.3. Framerates ar...

Re: Airspeed Ambassador for FSX out now!
I state “acceleration” because thats all I had on my system and cannot fully guarantee they will work in other FS versions. They also work just fine in Prepar3D, which is now my sim of choice, so much so that I have ditched FSX. I have installed UK 2000 VFR airports, GenX, Treescapes UK and REX int...

Re: HU ACG Duxford scenery
I've just discovered this amazing scenery. Outstanding work! Congratulations John and Steve. Very generous of you also to give this away free. It says it all about the dedication and pride that must have gone into this project that it's replaced a payware version in both of my sims. I'll definitely ...
Re: Preview
Marvellous work Dave! Great to see some of the "usual suspects" lining up again (including G-AGTM with her post-2008 moniker, a nice touch) and some new ones too. That BA livery is terrific, I'd not seen that before. Thanks for giving us the chance to make suggestions towards the new versi...

Sorry, in my original post I forgot to acknowledge the other members of the Rapide design team: Rick Piper, Dave Booker, Saverio Maurri, Brian Withers, Mike Hambly, Bob Rivera, Garry Russell, Mark Beaumont and Mike Wilson.
Thanks for your work,

Re: DH89 Fuel Gauge
*-) Curious. I'll have to delve into the configs and see what's going on. The Rapide originally started life as a FS2002 model, with various upgrades to it's current state. The fuel system hasn't changed much (at all?) over that time, so it's possible there is a slight incompatibility problem with ...
