Hawker Nimrod was the naval equivilent of the Hawker Fury biplane. Very tasty little number it was too.
There used to be another pub called The Aviator beside the aerodrome at Croydon. Had a DH Dove outside, I think.

I often wonder why people are buying that Valiant kit. The resale price topped out years ago so as an investment it doesn't really make sense. Way too expensive to build as well.

I had the same problem with one of my drives a while ago. It turned out that my power supply was not suppying enough oomf for it. Of course I only realised that there was nothing wrong with the drive after I had formatted it. :@
