Hawks in the Loop

Hi All, Having seen the screenshots on the Payware forum of Rick's new Hawk, I couldn't wait, so started practicing some low level work with the DSB Hawk. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v472/gjhowie/loop1.jpg Running in to the Cadair Pass http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v472/gjhowie/loop2.jpg E...

Cheers,

Re: Comet and Sextant Gauge question..

Hi Macs, It's been a long time since I looked at the Bubble Sextant add-on, but from memory it doesn't actually use the view of the sky, but simulates the Star based on the Assumed Pos, Azimuth and Elevation. You shouldn't need to actually locate the sextant over the star. Regarding your query on th...

I waited one month to make sure that I understood the situation, then I bought it. I decided it would probably only drop £20 over it's whole life, and I would get £20 of value between now and next October when my machine is due an upgrade. Autogen switched off and default AI replaced for World of ...

He He He - Thread hijack!,

I was born in '78, so I didn't have much social interaction

I also went to Auchenharvie - were you taught languages by a Mrs H by any chance? (If so, don't say anything bad )

Oh no - it's a three towns takeover!

Grew up in Stevenston 1978-1999 :-# Always great when Concorde was training at Prestwick, turning base for runway 13 over the bay

Hi All, Not posted in ages, but this post caught my attention as I've only recently got involved in buying a share of an Auster J1 :-$ The problem with Austers currently is the vast majority of them are on CAA Certificates of Airworthiness. There is no design authority and European legislation seems...

Hi Mark,

If no one else has responded, I'll have a look tonight and see if I can come up with some basic figures for you.

The Dove planning should be quite easy compared to the Trident and 748

HS.748 Fuel Usage

Hi All, I've been doing some measurements of the 748 fuel burn, and thought I'd share it to assist with flight planning. Figures based on a MTOW departure, under ISA conditions. Ground Idle: 600 lbs/h (272kg/h) Taxi: 800 lbs/h (363kg/h) Normal Startup & Taxi Allowance 250 lbs (113kg) Sea Level T...

I've got my eye on G-AROI, so long as I can find a route back to Liverpool with her :-)
