Thanks for the HU. I snagged 'em both. You can definitely tell some serious effort has been put into them both. That pack of Camels says it all....

Love the VC in the OV-10, too....

Hey Garry, By no means am I an expert, but I think it depends on the aircraft in particular. I recall reading once that the 747 was actually designed to withstand forces from a 45 degree crabbed landing...since a wing-low attitude at touchdown would risk an engine strike. I doubt (hope???) that's no...

Nice form on that VC-10 landing! I've always had a hell of a time in FS of being able to nail that smooth transition from crab to slip and still maintaining the centerline. I'd have been in the weeds eating crow for sure on that one!

Good to hear! That's what's great about software with the systems complexity of the Level-D 767...you always seem to discover something new everytime you fiddle with it. Take care...

Finally got it dowloaded & setup. Quite nice. Well worth the trouble. The scenery is compatible with most of the popular freeware & payware add-ons out there. Quite a lot of 'bang for the buck'....particularly considering it's free!

I am currently downloading at a breathtaking 8 KB/sec, only 3 hours to go........ Wanna race? I'm currently tearing it up at a supersonic 6 kb/s. Looking forward to seeing how this scenery stacks up, though! I'm curious to see how well it'll mesh with some of the payware scenery I have installed.

If it's anything like their Yak-40, we're in luck.

Nice work. Although I've yet to make it to your side of 'the pond', it's nice to know when I do that there will still still be some nicely preserved pieces of Britain's rich aviation heritage. There's nothing more sad (or infuriating) than watching a historical ship/plane being dismantled.

No problem. Glad to hear you decided to go with it. If you are used to the PMDG 737, then the Level-D will be a piece of cake. The biggest hurdle will probably be getting used to the nauseous "Boeing brown" cockpit!
