Re: HU ACG Duxford scenery

Just installed the FSX version and it is IMHO the best UK scenery ever made for the sim...............and it's FREE Great work from John and Steve, I now have a new home after flying from RAF Tangmere for almost two years, quite a difference in quality of the scenery there 8) .

Re: JustFlight -Viscount

I have to give them a bit of support, I did some beta testing (in fact still have the beta, forgot to apply fom my free retail one!) and as a 'General' product, I think it is good enough for 99% of the folk who will buy it. The main JF target audience is casual buys at PC World etc. who just want to...

New Nord 3400 (native) for FSX

A really nice freeware Native FSX Nord N3400 (a sort of gallic Auster AOP 9) has been released at Restauavia, you will also need to DL the Nord 3202 (which I think is a portover, but still nice) as they share the same gauges. The 3400 is still a beta as they want to add more stuff, but it's delightf...

Re: Cumbernauld Xtreme

The Horizon VFR has been promising a full Scotland for years. If the decide to go for Hi-res like the 'Isles', it will probably cost over 100 quid to cover, which will be silly. I never fly north of the border now (I hate FSX UK default scenery) and would love to see the Highlands in VFR.

Re: Virtavia Chinook!

That rotor disk reminds me of some early plastic kits that had a clear plastic 'spinning' prop as an optional part. Don't look right to me, maybe it's not finished.

Re: FSX Shackleton!!!

It's now realeased :excited: , but (as yet!) I have not been able to DL it from Britsim. The DL finishes early every attempt and I am not the only one having troubles. It may be worth waiting another day or so to get it! It looks very nice BTW! :welldone: :welldone: :welldone: http://www.britsim.com...

Re: All our yesterdays...

Here is me (bass!), in 1982 fresh from leaving the RAF (hence halfway hair) in a rather silly charity band called the Flopsy Bunnies(recently reformed after 25 years) performing in Chichester! http://a7.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc6/216577_1016019717465_1134250983_54082_8166_n.jpg Two of our ...
