I can't find it on Google street view :dunno:
Hi Garry,

Street view is a bit flakey but it is still there. About halfway between North Roe and Isbister on the A970. (60 35'38.62N 1 19'38.28W is the camera location.)

Re: Fokker f27 flameout on touchdown Fraser A. McKay

Hi,

I'm pretty sure the Herald will shut the engines down if you land too hard, an 'acceleration/G' switch shuts the fuel off I believe. Maybe Fraser has this built into the F27 as well :dunno:

Re: RAF_Quantum, snow in NE Lincs?

Weather forecast last night showed a band of snow sort of level with Midlands extending into Lincolnshire. I rang my wife...

All passenger flightplans are common to the B747-100 and B747-200 the cargo flightplans are just for the B747-200F. Be aware if transiting Anch...

Re: NE Lincolnshire

Hi Ben, I've lived in the area since 1980 when I moved to take up new employment. I always think of Grimsby/Cleethorpes and the area being a 'dead-end'. What I mean by that is you don't pass through Grimsby, you have to head for it on purpose. Reasonable shopping in the with most of the big names co...

Re: One for Peter.....

Peter, When I worked for Air Anglia, one rainy day whilst on duty at Aberdeen I looked out of our ops office window and saw a BEA Trident touch down long and my colleagues and I all thought 'WTF that looks hairy'. We craned our necks to see it dissappearing into the distance and then lost sight as t...
