Re: Upgrading to MSFS

Could not find Croft Field in MSFS, the default Cosford is ok but the buildings are wrong. Did not look at Staverton. The airfields are not as good as the UK2000 offerings in my opinion. If you want eye candy then go for MSFS, if you want loads of aircraft and airfileds (via ORBX) then go for P3Dv5....

Re: Speed Distance Time Calculator

Have a look here Nigel, I use this:

For the real thing I use Sky Demon but it does not talk to any flight sim.

Even Dave approves of it!

Re: Airbus 320 neo and Modern aircraft fleet

[quoteI think what frustrates me about MSFS is that while much of the visuals are way better than what came before, many of the systems like the autopilots and the ATC are worse, and when I go back to P3D where those things work properly I am reminded that the visuals are not what they could be, so ...

Re: Question regarding the PA28 - Archer 111

To be honest I never really mastered tail draggers despite Dave shouting 'dancing feet' on takeoff and landing.

If you get the chance come along to Compton Abbas, you will love the scenery, food and aeroplanes!

The white arc up to a max of 103 kts is allowable flap range . The Pa 28-161s of the AbbasAir school have 160hp Lycoming O-320s. We...
