Weeks loaned the mossie to the museum at Oshkosh. It was still there a few years ago at least. A museum in England has part of the fuselage of the lanc. I bet Walt disnae ken that, as we say in Scotland.

Hi Ben, Much of the Strathallan stuff was saved, a lot of it such as the Bolingbroke and Miles Monarch going to East Fortune. The Reid and Seigrist Desford (you'll have to google that one ;-) ) is in storage down sarf somewhere, and the Fairey Battle and Lysander went overseas. Air Atlantic now own ...

Thanks for the kind words folks. Does anyone know what happened to that Gannet in the pics above and the Vampire in 43Squadron markings? The Gannet left Leuchars as a flier but seems to have disappeared without trace. I think that the Vampire moved to Errol but hasn't been seen there for some years ...
