Re: Dragon Rapide Repaint
Tom, a new repaint of G-AIDL/TX310 for the FS9 Rapide has just been posted at Sim-Outhouse. That'll be mine. Did it some while back for personal use, but when I saw Tom's request here I tidied it & packaged it up & uploaded it at the Outhouse for him; I make no claim to great artistry, so s...

Re: Leif Harding
A very sad day. In all my dealings with Leif he was never anything less than a true gentleman, patiently answering even my most stupid question.
My thoughts are with his wife and family, and with Rob and all of you guys at the Pond who worked so closely with him. He will be sorely missed.

Sadly she didn't survive for long after you flew her; according to the Radfan Hunters site she crashed on August 8th, sadly the pilot was killed.

An amazing man; the more I read about him, the greater grows my awe!! A truly great man, and a pioneer in the real sense of the word. I feel the need to drink to his memory.

Re: FS9 or FSX for Classic Flight Simming?
To be fair, FS2004 has 3 years on FSX. Wasn't disputing that, merely pointing out that there are lots of addons available to backdate FS9, and there is no need to compromise by having "ancient & modern" in the same sim. If I wanted a retro FSX then it would have to be all or nothing; ...

Re: FS9 or FSX for Classic Flight Simming?
I think the difference is, FS9 has a lot of addons available to make a much more genuinely 'period' sim - FS1954, if you like. With the scenery and AI available over at CalClassic (including David Maltby's retro Manchester) you can achieve some very impressive results. In fact I have a number of FS9...

Don't worry mate I'm not sure either except he was something to do with road haulage and I think he died recently?? :dunno: Never heard of him until very recently  Garry, have you never played "Nobby & Stobby" on long motorway journeys? Stobart's rival company is Norbert Dentress...
