Re: Preview Orbx True Earth UK Central

did notice one flaw and that Scarborough Castle is not there!! I guess there's going to be disappointments all over the place. This is Durham Cathedral. http://users.tpg.com.au/adsln5jc/tempsnip.jpg Personally a massive failure, but then I did smile all the way back to EGNV racing the traffic on th...

Re: Preview Orbx True Earth UK Central

I've just put in an SDD specifically to house P3Dv4 and X-Plane. I got True Earth UK Central as soon as it was released as that's the part of the world I grew up in. Re: Looking to buy a new computer.

I've always found this site useful, especially comparing video cards. I have to convert to Australian zlotys but it's the relative power of the cards (and not having to decipher their gibberish nomenclature) that I find most helpful. Re: X-Plane 11 My Verdict

Well the culprit for all those libraries is EGNV (Teesside Airport*). Once I'd installed that, X-Plane just kept asking for library after library. So I found them and installed them. A bit naive perhaps? I don't blame the designer/builder as he's done a great job and plainly used objects from a lot ...

Re: X-Plane 11 My Verdict

And I just paid more than $55, downloaded 26 Gigabytes and found Cheltenham to be a totally flat image with no buildings whatsoever. Tour of the Cotswolds my arse.

Re: Skype

To use an Aussie phrase, Micro$oft have been stuffing around with Skype for a while now. Maybe the plan is to tick the users off enough that they'll be glad to see it changed.
