Re: BKS Bristol Freighter
   You must be as visually challenged as I am! I also accept all the defaults until I find some compelling reason to change something. I can't be bothered reading all the video techy stuff in the online and readme file. There is a "codec tweak tool" available to make changes...

Changing Careers or spelt with a 'W' or a 'B'?
I just loved a story I saw on BBC World News America tonight. Apparently there is a place called Wookey Hole in Somerset and they held auditions for a witch (must have a good cackle.) Over 300 applicants auditioned for the job, which pays £50,000 per year on a pro rata basis. A lady named Carole Boh...

I still cringe with embarrasment at the episode with the :$ :$ :$ Germans.Best Wishes EricT Basil Fawlty.Sarcasm and vitriol a speciality. He was to customer service what Woodbines were to Winston Churchill.  Love the Winston analogy! I have to confess, "The Germans" was perhaps...

Re: AVSIM LIBRARY BACK
Yes, the Avsim search engine leaves a lot to be desired. You have to fairly creative to narrow your searches. From my experience, many times it will only look at the first word in the search. Still, I am glad the library is back.

Amazing how the technology for handling reservations has changed since 1964. Notice I did not say improved! I really just have one burning question - what exactly is "fishmuff?" (5:43 in the vid) Sounds a bit naughty to me, but then I am getting to be a dirty old man. ;-) Nigel²

Re: No Riff Raff
Yes, I know PBS has aired these for years - that is why I mentioned the 39th repeat  That said, I think this could be the first time we have had 4 straight hours of them one one PBS station (WMPT) here - another PBS station (WETA) airs As Time Goes By and Keeping Up Appearences, but different e...
