Thanks Pete, after a few hours trawling the sites, I came across Gerry Winskills UK Farm Strips v1. This has a set of scenery files that 'Instant Scenery' is able to use, I'm now busy changing MS's hangers into something more realistic for the UK.

Good morning guys.
FSX working fine, installed 'Instant Scenery' alls well.
Can anyone point me in the direction of a library that has RAF Hangers in it?
I guess I can add to the numbers of those that look forward to flying only to be side tracked but is'nt it a great hobby.

Sorry if this is digging up a past topic but I'm reading a book about an Army pilot and his initial training on a Chippy, then the AOP 9. It's difficult to put down. I can recommend it as insight to the delights of flying Ricks beauty.

I agree with Andy, this is a very hot subject, the long history needs to be studied with care and it is not for the faint hearted. There is an armchair general in all of us thats just desperate to get out. This is a time to suppress it , thats my humble opinion and I have a vested interest at that.
