A couple of visiting Jetstream's

Loads of football charters in and out including this huge 747-300.

Beware of jet blast  It actually broke one of the runway lights

Image
I think this is the first 747-400 to land at Liverpool.

Image
Very impressive being so close to something this size

One good thing about this upcoming cup final is that there are loads of charters coming in to break the monotony of the usual Easyjet or Ryanair 737 & scarebus'

Thanks for looking.

Seeing as there are no replies you probably don't care but look what came today instead of the expected 737

I missed this too Jonesey

Nice to see the RN Jetstreams still chugging along nicely. Love the old Tribus too

Jonesey,

Didn't reply to the first set cause I was in a Rush at the time, but top pics. I love the one of the rear of the 747 with the Flying grass, and the second picture of the Tristar.

Thanks for posting them.

BTW, what camera gear are you using?

EDIT: I meant the last picture of the Tristar, but they are all good.

Agree Dave

The TriStars are rare now days and I doubt if there are very many of those Handley Page version Jetstreams flying now either

All good stuff

Hello Jonesy

I claim time lag as my reason - just logged back in after taking care of his nibs all day -- Portugese 1011?? most of the carriers in europe didnt
exsist in my day - However - as Garry says nice to see Handley Page still being outed and the Chippy although I have seen your pics of it before
always gives me goosebumps

Thanks for sharing

Leif

Spot on, as far as I know Dave. The NFLC at Cranfield retired the last civvie registered Jetstream (according to the Sept '04 Aircraft Illustrated), and we know the RAF seem to prefer the King Air!
