Today at Manchester Science Museum (not for 56k)

Post by VEGAS »

Hi all,

Went for a quick look at the gems at Manchester Science museum today. A rather small collection but still some lovely machines to be seen, all of which are in tip top shape and a good day out if your ever up this way!

Zulu Papa's cockpit display lights were'nt on so it came out rather dark plus it was behind a perspex screen

Your right Andy the halls are literally jam packed with all sorts of engineering heritage. Shame they can't really build any more halls as there is just no more room. Behind the Museum is Granada Studios which is home to Coronation Street. I would'nt mind them pulling that lot down to make way for fresh exhibits!

I think it does

Is the Trident shorter than it used to be when it was first cut down?

Weird you should mention that. I have'nt been to the Museum for about 15 years and when I was last there I seem to remember the Trident being shorter. Perhaps I imagined it. :dunno:
