Well I don't know what I did the other evening but I just re-downloaded a couple of the Hunter packs (and the fix file) and these had installers which the one I got earlier did not. :dunno:

These installed perfectly and I can fly them again. :welldone:

I can live with the no glass issue for now (SP2 is not that far away hopefully) but I did notice that the vortices from the wing tips are showing vertically instead of from the tips so I need to find where I read how to fix that problem (apparently it is a known FSX port over issue).

Once that's done I can look at adding the new Shockwave 3D Lights Redux I have been beta-testing and I will be one happy camper!

Glad you got them working
I only released the Hunters with install programs, so if you downloaded one without, it's not an "official" release. Can you remember where you got it?

I got them from the usual place I use for Classic British files....

...but I just checked and all the downloads have installers so what happened I have no idea. :dunno:

Thinking about it some more I downloaded the JP and Meteor at the same time and hit problems with the gauges on those so I may have dumped the lot before I even unpacked the Hunters. :brick:

Sorry if I have had you on a wild goose chase. :$

Dito... where did you get HMS Glamorgan from??

Also, looks like you got both Glamorgan and Hermes to sail as AI ships? How did you do that? Are they both available as MDLs?

I think the argument for FSX would be better if you all hid your frame rates, as you all have cutting edge PC's it does not look too good!
Despite going against the trend, I still think these old FS9 shots show that there is life in the 'old dog' still, if you have the correct add-ons.....

Sorry Rick :$

Glam is still in Dev, but she does look good doesn't she. You can get any ship to sail as AI as long as they are compiled as .mdl files and not bgl's.

There is an excellent program on the net (in work now so can find the link) that allows you to draw routes for your ships in google earth and then convert them to AI shipping plans. Thats how I did it. :)
