Mosquito Flying with AI

Post by dswanson »

Hi,

A few shots for Mosquito addicts awaiting Dave's Mossie. These are FS9. The AI set were achieved by using Peter McClelland's "ghost" airport technique with three Mosquitos taking off in a "Vic" formation.

Peter,

These shots were from my first experiment, so they just landed as normal at their destination but on return they disappeared before reaching the threshold of the originating ghost airports, so I didn't see a landing. :(

At their first destination, after the last screen shot position, they were separated by ATC with the two rear planes going around. They didn't keep the Vic formation as tight as at the start, and of course as their return to origin was not from ghost airports, they flew in a well separated line astern. I do intend to set up a "ghost to ghost" flightplan when I get some more time since, as you know, aligning the ghosts is tricky. :OB:
