Not FSX but This Sim is Brilliant!

Post by Nigel H-J »

Hope I'm not breaking Forum Rules here but downloaded 2 days ago and after installing all the updates having a ball! Mostly flying the Spitefire but the Hurricane, ME109,and the ME110 are good especially when using the cannons. :hide:

Running sweetly on my i5, very smooth frame rates. Only problem I have is which simulator to use FSX and COD are keeping me a happy bunny!

Over the Channel and got this ME110 which eventually crashed into the sea.

Over London flying toward flak burst and off to finish the job, you can just make out he is streaming slight amount of smoke from the port engine.

Pushed my luck too far by getting too close to the gunner and got hit in the oil tank but he is smoking.

Thanks H

It is 'Cliffs of Dover' which can be purchased through Steam at £9.99 but then you will require the updates from the Team Fusion Site so that it runs correctly.

It takes a bit of time to get used to and the screen shots are from quick start just so I can get used to flying the aircraft and also hone my shooting, but many play on-line and are aliased to the Team Fusion Site ATAG The Air Tactical Assault Group where you can get help and advice.

As I previously wrote, I am finding it hard which sim to use as I purchased the Connie recently and enjoy flying it and also Ricks Jetstream so my days are now really filled up with flying. :tunes:

Yup, those screen shots are great, Nigel!
I have an old copy of COD, but I can't remember why I'm not flying it these days. :dunno:

Following my earlier post, I bought a new PC and have got my Cliffs of Dover up and running again.

It's brilliant. There's lots of guides to be had "Chucks Guide" being of great use.
I'm currently trying to get to grips with bombing in the He 111

If I can recall the original game was buggy and reliant oon high end machines to run it (hmmmm what other sim does that bring to mind? *-)
But with newer hardware and the Team Fusion fixes it has grown into a fine sim. Must get around to reinstalling it. 8) It is just a matter of finding the time and inclination.

Can't take all the blame Chris.....You looked at the screenies! :poke:

Chris, if you need any help as I did (only minor ones concerning best setup for the joystick, you can get all the help and information at the ATAG Forum. Plenty of information including all the Mod updates but be sure to run the sim after each update. Mod Updates:

Plenty of info to help you along:
