Simon, thanks for that. I hadn't thought about P3Dv4, but I'll be moving over to it this year, so the Hudson is another add-on I can put a green tick next to. Do you have FS Add Ons Avro Anson by any chance, and if so, is that also P3Dv4 compatible ?

Simon, thanks again - excellent news. And Virtavia - I think if the Lincoln and the B-45 Tornado ( which I'd completely forgotten I had ) both work in P3Dv4, I'll be satisfied with that. I'd like to take all their other stuff with me if possible, but it's those two that are important. Thanks for the info!

Colin, thank you. I hadn't thought to consult the Mighty Tube. Great videos, especially where she is flying with the CAC Boomerang. That must have been a familiar sight early in the war out there. Thanks very much.

Something is puzzling me with this aircraft now - the fuel flow gauges read differently. Mixture settings are identical, and with fuel pumps on or off, the difference between them remains the same. As you can see, the fuel pressure gauge ( lower left ) shows the same values, but the flow rates are different.



Any thoughts, troops ?

Hi Paul,
Whilst we mere mortals think that equal pressure means equal flows, according to this link, vibration, smoothness of pipes, heat, etc all affect the flow.

Of course, I'm not certain that the modellers built anything like the quoted equations into the design, but it is possible that due to pipe length and so on, there may have been a difference between engines, and they just said, right-make a flow difference of "X".
I have written to Temora asking them whether they observe differences in their aircraft. I'll let you know if I hear back.
