Rain Effect add-on for 3 default X-Plane 11 Aircraft

Post by Nigel H-J »

Downloaded and tried the rain effect (Librain integration) on the default King Air C90B, default Cessna 172 and Cirrus Vision SF50. Really works well and worth downloading. You will find all 3 on the link given at the end (depending on more entries):

I did a short video in awful weather so don't expect to see much of the ground due to low cloud, poor visibility and rain!!

Warch in HD, have not yet got my video settings sorted out yet!! :hide:

That is very very good. I especially like the transition when the aircraft starts to move, and the curvature of the windshield.

thinks...... now if only I could get along with XP

That looks great. I saw that plugin listed over at the .org, but didn't look to see what it was. I'll definitely get it now after seeing your video.

What I have found in using it is that I set precipitation to sever but somehow did not get as much rain onto the windshield, it was only by raising and lowering the cloud base that it then poured down.

Will have to see if I get that on other aircraft unless it is my settings on the graphic card not quite right yet.
