Shalom and greetings all my pals,

Presenting a darn nice winter commuter flight from KGPI Glacier Park International Airport located six miles northeast of Kalispell in Montana to KPDX Portland International Airport located just south of the Columbia River 12 miles northeast of downtown Portland in Oregon.

Airborne on climb to F300

Now at correct westward still climbing to F300 with background view of mountains of Flathead National Forest

Passing Spokane suburb called Spokane Valley where you can see just behind left wing a big rectangular shaped building which is actually Spokane Valley Mall and exactly below tip of the left wing is highway intersection of two highways which are highway number 90 running across the screenshot and highway number 27 running from top to bottom of the screenshot with nice view of Spokane river

Passing KSFF Felts Field, which long long before opening of Spokane airport, was original Spokane airport located five miles northeast of downtown Spokane with highway route 90 off tip of left wing and Sponake River off tip of right wing while the plane is directly above highway 290 called East Trent Avenue that you can see out of the planes tail

Passing two famous mountains which are Mount Ranier in back and Mount St. Helens in front

On final runway approach to runway 10 left

Passing the Oregon Slough Railroad Bridge also known as the BNSF Railway Bridge 8.8 which is used regularly by freight trains of both BNSF and Union Pacific Railroad as well as by Amtrak passenger trains on routes connecting Portland with Seattle and with Chicago via Spokane. The island on right side of the plane is called Hayden Island located in Columbia River between Vancouver, Washington and Portland, Oregon.
