So I reinstalled FS2004... yes, yes. I know. Its not as good as P3D etc etc.... However, when you have little gems like this, who can resist! its also nice to look back at airfields which are no longer with us, and old versions of Heathrow etc.

Re: Nostalgia
That brings back memories
In my youth, I spent far, far, far too much time planespotting at Birmingham Airport (BHX/EGBB). It was fairly quiet back then, but I do remember there was always a BMA Herald shuttling back and forth to Heathrow. For some reason, it always seemed to be G-ATIG.

Re: Nostalgia
It’s a lovely model. And the strange thing I’m actually enjoying flying the old 2Dpanels. Maybe it’s age, but I like that I can read the details on the instruments without having to zoom in and out. I think I’ve completed the transition to old fart.

I've really missed that Herald model since I switched to FSX! Many, many happy hours were spent in the virtual skies in her
Re: Nostalgia
Just been looking at a lot of the old models. Frasers panels are so good. They give you so much to do during the flight, and the checklist to follow is great. When I get the VC10 back, I think I’ll go for the Argosy.
