That looks absolutely splendid Dale, only wish it could be done for X plane11 :((

Thanks for that Nigel
I'm not sure at this point how far I can go with the "port over". First step seemed to have worked by passing the Fsx folder through PlaneConverter which packages it into Msfs 2020 format
As you see there are textures missing from the landing gear, opaque windscreen, no 2 engine inlet and the nav lights The cockpit has no textures at all and no gauges. Although inside, the windscreen is quite transparent! All the animations seem to work, not sure about the gear, but if the rest work I don't see why not.
Need to run the textures through MCX and de cab the gauges as a starter. And cobble together an aircraft config file.
I'm afraid I cant help with XP

Looks good Dale. The white parts are either missing textures or they're in the wrong format. As for the gauges, they won't work at all, although MSFS should be able to use XML gauges, currently there's no way to get them to work. Saying that the guy who made the converter is working on adding gauge conversion as well but how well that will work I don't know.

Yes I'll probably work on the textures first. Seems there are a few converters that will handle them Haven't really looked at the gauges yet. The panel folder I use for the model in V5 is a dogs dinner. I never really tidied it up from making it Fsx native. and I'm not sure yet of the 2020 structure anyway. Couldn't even copy / paste the 2020 airplanes folder to investigate the build of the aircraft. cfg :dunno: Ended up copy / paste the aircraft, cockpit, cameras, etc, of the Bonanza in notepad to get something to study over a glass or 2

Oh well, worth a try in asking I guess. Only wish I had more than 2 cells otherwise I might have given it a go, but at my age..........!!!!!

First successful flight :excited: Manchester to Liverpool
All engines work, now starters set to pneumatic.
Gear works, now set to hydraulic.
Engine idle set to 20% n1 but could still do with a little bit less
C of G altered (empty and fully loaded)
Parasitic drag increased ( needs a bit more as she's very slippery)
Needs a bit more tweaking. Still wallows a bit.
Working gauges I have are:- Rate climb and decent, Engine RPM, airspeed, Brake and Flaps indicator ( only left needle) and Clock !! Guess I'll have to wait until XML is fully implemented.
I have no click spots in the VA but everything that works can be mapped to the keyboard. Yoke pedals and saitek throttles all fine even after todays update.

Much work to do on the textures but I'm starting to like the steely grey paintjob and the white tyres look cool

A few shots from my flight EGCC to EKCH this evening
I've got the fuel use somewhere near now, and the performance is similar to what she was in P3d
Can't really do anymore until there's more progress with a legacy gauge converter or legacy gauges become supported by M$
Its a pity the autopilot won't work. There's no form of navigation. Its hand fly all the way. Its very much VFR!!
May look at the textures. I've got Blender, but I don't really know what I'm doing :dunno: Any help would be appreciated ;)
