Cheers guys

Dave, pilots in the chippy were our CF staff pilot and one of the ATR guys who also flys the classics for us on a frequent basis. We've been doing some formation practice in preperation for the upcoming airshow season.

The Rapide shots were taken on the way back from Kemble yesterday. Had to divert to Wellesbourne on the way home after a gyro-copter closed the runway at CVT. Still, gave the pilot tiime for a break.

Must say a huge thanks to the kind lady at Aviation Wellesbourne who made us all cups of tea and coffee

Tom.

Rapide & Chipmunk Photos

Post by hobby »

My first flight was in a Rapide painted '"Electric Blue" from Croydon Airport in 1950. Gift from Dad for passing the 11+!! Were there really Lloyd Loom wicker chairs for passengers, perhaps not.

Third flight was in a Chipmunk as an ATC cadet and last flight was transatlantic in a BA777 from Logan, Boston, Ma.

Hi Eric,

It was John Dodd, one of our volunteer pilots at the controls of AGTM. Jon Gowdy was flying the Devon.

We are hoping to be offering aerobatic flights in the chippy as soon as possible. I think it will probably be from about mid-June.

Tom.
